Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) are seeking a mature, dedicated and enthusiastic individual to undertake a Administration Assistant Traineeship within our internal recruitment business unit.

Previous experience is not essential as we are seeking applicants that have the right attitude, are dependable, reliable, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Role Description:

The successful candidate will be employed by ACA and will undertake a 12-month full-time traineeship, working on-site with our host employer; and will complete a Certificate III, or IV in Business.

Duties include:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls, making appointments and responding to email enquiries
  • Provide assistance with candidate screening, on-boarding and documentation
  • Maintaining a clean and organised working space
  • General administrative duties including scanning documents, mail, updating computer records and data entry
  • Providing general administrative assistance to other team members as required
  • Attending external and internal meetings, workshops and RTO training as required
  • Other duties as directed

Candidate Requirements:

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Willing to commit to completing a Certificate III, or IV in Business
  • Demonstrate cooperation, respect, consideration, and tact in dealing with others
  • Aptitude for working and communicating effectively with people of all backgrounds
  • Ability to prioritise requirements

 

Candidates must have, or be willing to obtain:

  • Current Police Check
  • Flu and COVID-19 vaccination
