The purpose of the role is to develop and maintain our DevOps tooling and ensure that we can deploy changes to our technology stack on a regular cadence as well as consulting with stakeholders to understand their objectives and leveraging technology to drive business value.  

Job description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Become the go to person within ROLLiN’ for DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
  • Work with both the ROLLiN’ technology and business teams to enhance and maintain our Tooling, Cloud Infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline that service our technology landscape.
  • Own and drive relationships with internal technical audiences of all kinds to understand business objectives and translate requirements into solutions
  • Work closely with architecture, technical BAs, and developers to ensure we are able to deploy releases and changes to that help better service our customers.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud computing technologies; SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AWS, Azure, Google
  • Understand complexities of rapid development in a CI/CD environment
  • Understand opportunities for automation and process streamlining

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Cloudformation, Terraform, AWS CDK
  • Experience with high-end development tools and technologies
  • Understanding of monitoring technologies
  • Understanding of software development and the tools and technologies required to efficiently deliver change
  • Certification in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Experience with Agile / Lean project management methodologies
