The Position
Our Document Services Coordinator is responsible for providing robust document services leadership, ensuring all internal and external documentation meets contracted and governance standards and enabling the successful delivery of existing commitment and future opportunities.
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
  • Leading and coordinating all internal and external documentation produced within CEA meets Australian and International documentation standards
  • Leading, mentoring and developing the document services team to deliver a high level of stakeholder support and service within expected timeframes
  • Supporting CEA business development activities through drafting of contracts, bids and proposals in collaboration with internal business areas
  • Supporting CEA Project and Program management and administration through the professional editing, publication and maintenance of documents
  • Supporting CEA corporate activities such as data collection and analysis, maintaining and developing reports and publications for internal and external audiences
  • Updating and managing documentation and content on our website, intranet and any other required channels
  • Participating in professional development and networking opportunities, ensuring CEA maintains the highest professional documentation standards and is prepared for future changes
  • Training, educating and supporting internal stakeholders use of Objective Document Management System for all CEA documents
The Person
Our ideal candidate will have experience in the development, editing, publication and management of internal and external business and technical documents. Experience within Defence or similar industries where documentation requirements, ISO standards and business rules must be strictly adhered to, has a keen eye for detail and experience in leading and working within a team is highly desirable.

  • Professional writing, editing or similar experience, with demonstrated experience in documentation development
  • Excellent proof reading and editing skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes
  • Consultative approach to business support activities, positive and solutions driven ‘can do’ approach and the ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships
  • Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to work effectively autonomously
  • Demonstrated Intermediate level skills in MS Office suite, Canvas or equivalent software
  • Demonstrated capacity to work as part of a team, contribute to positive improvements and maintain consistent attendance
  • NV1 AGSVA Defence Security clearance, or the ability to obtain this within probationary Period.
