Habitat Noosa, Australia’s best new Tourism business of 2020 is situated in 65 acres of beautiful National Park 25 minutes North of Noosa. We have a range of accommodation styles from camping to Luxurious glamping tents. Our on site Restaurant and Brewery operates 7 days a week providing delicious, affordable meals and unique craft beers created on site using our own Artesian water supply.
Our Everglades Eco Safaris leave directly from the grounds which are situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Cootharaba. These award winning tours take in the amazing Noosa Everglades and return to the Bistro to enjoy a sumptuous lunch and sample the aforementioned craft beers.
About the role
This is a full time position, the bistro serves lunch and dinner 7 days a week and breakfasts on weekends. Our new GelatoBAR serves locally made Gelato and is open weekends and school holidays.
The role will include the day to day management of the CootharaBar, Bistro and GelatoBar including employee training, mentoring, development, rostering and liaising with the Chefs to provide a consistent and enjoyable customer experience.
The ideal candidate will be a natural at providing exceptional customer service and leading a diverse team to ensure every customer has an enjoyable experience. Managing bookings, optimising floor plans on the fly, coordinating functions and special events. Corresponding with customers will be part of your day to day responsibilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to put company policies and procedures in place is a must.

Skills and experience
The successful candidate will possess,
– Excellent communication and written skills
– Ability to work within a team environment
– At least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
– Ability to ensure compliance with company procedure
– Excellent Food and Beverage knowledge
– Ability to manage staff and disputes
– Brilliant customer service skills
– Confident speaking to groups
– Enjoy working with all demographics including school groups
