About the Role

As Commercial Administration Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to the CEO and have full visibility of the business and its operations. The purpose of this role will to be assist and support the CEO with overseeing all accounting, payments, payroll, purchasing and inventory logistics. You will also handle all company administration, HR systems, and control. You will handle the reporting, commercial contracts and administration.
Further but not limited to, you will manage the company computer systems comprising Microsoft Office, ERP and SQL.
The role will also be key in developing and strengthening the company values and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administration of the HR system, payroll, and general office management responsibilities.
  • Responsible for all payment of funds from the company, and collection of receivables.
  • Oversee and manage all relevant reconciliations.
  • Some company secretarial and commercial matters.
  • Preparation of monthly management reports and board pack for quarterly meetings.
  • Prepare annual budgets and cashflow forecasts as necessary.
  • Maintain company asset registers.
  • Liaise with relevant third parties and external Accountant for tax reporting.
  • Oversee, mentor, and support accounts staff.
  • Preparation, oversee of BAS, Super, Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation and FBT.
  • Ensure all company insurances are up to date and competitive.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required by senior management and directors.  
To be successful you will have
  • A degree in accounting or economics or a qualification in Commerce, Business or Accounting.
  • General knowledge of Commercial and Company Law.
  • Some experience with import/export including some inventory control, orders in hand, sales/product trends.
  • Experience in providing executive assistance to the leadership team.
  • Exemplary stakeholder management skills.
  • Extensive experience in managing an administration function, delivering high-quality services to internal and external customers, and managing office facilities.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and supporting the CEO with these initiatives.
  • Strong Microsoft (excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ERP skills.
  • Exposure to corporate governance and compliance.
  • Excellent computer skills and in-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite and experience with an SQL based ERP system. 
  • At least 3 years’ experience with the above responsibilities.
