About the role
We are currently seeking a full time Human Resource Officer to join our team at the Head Office in Armidale NSW. The position will support the HR Manager with driving the organisational culture, aligning with our values which fosters accountability, innovation and continuous improvement
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with the administration of HR systems and process as required
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, company, and client information at all times
- Recruiting and onboarding of new employees
- Maintaining all staff skills matrix and organising training and development
- Assist the HR Manager with advice on the interpretation of HR policies, procedures, guidelines, and staff performance
- Assist with the roll out of the business wide annual performance review process
- Demonstrate positive workplace culture
About you
- Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources role and/or qualification
- Demonstrated strong confidentiality, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Multi-tasking capabilities with attention to detail and excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- A quick learner that is able to work autonomously with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships and relationships in a collaborative manner with key internal clients to support the organisation’s vision, mission, and values
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel
- Current Working with Children Checks and National Police Check
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
