Legal Administration Assistant
The Migration Services Administrator will be supporting the busy Migration Services team and must possess a strong client service focus enabling you to interact well with the team in a fast paced quality focused environment. The Migration Services team consults with publicly listed, private and government organizations spanning multiple industries and countries to ensure that appropriate controls and processes are in place to secure client’s strategic and operational objectives.
As a valued member of the Migration Services team, you will provide administration support to the Principal and other legal professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
You will work closely with industry respected professionals whilst enjoying a supportive firm culture.
This role can be either part time or full time.
BDO Migration Services is an incorporated immigration legal practice which specializes in all aspects of Australian immigration and nationality law for corporate and private clients.
Your new role,
As the Legal Administration Assistant in Migration services, you will work closely within a collaborative team environment obtaining great variety of work.
Including file management and billing administration, assist the Solicitors with drafting professional and accurate legal documents and dealing with client opening matters.
You will be responsible for:
- File management and billing administration
- Assist Solicitors with drafting professional and accurate legal documents
- Collect information and documentation from clients
- Dealing with client opening matters
- Prepare draft correspondence and memoranda
- Administrative duties such as scanning and uploading documents
- Maintaining the client contact list
- Updating template letters
When you apply, we will look for written skills and attention to detail and accuracy, as well as good analytical and investigative skills and ability to both work autonomously and with a collaborative team.
If you have previous working experience as an administrator or legal assistant and have worked in a highly professional environment and are ready to take on a role that will solidify your career within the industry please get in touch or apply directly.
If you have experience in LEAP migration manager and a sound understanding or corporate immigration and visa categories even better.
