We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team.

About the ROLE

We are seeking an experienced full-time employee to be responsible for managing the payroll process whilst also maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and personnel data. You will be responsible for conducting the end to end fortnightly payroll process for Scenic AU and Scenic NZ, your key focus and tasks will be to:

  • Ensure timesheets are completed and submitted in a timely manner
  • Be responsible for monthly and annual payroll reconciliations including Single Touch Payroll and Inland Revenue reporting and declarations
  • Calculate and process all termination and redundancy payments
  • Respond to any payroll escalated enquiries
  • Process end of month financial reports including the upload of journals into the finance system
  • Responsible for nationwide monthly and annual payroll tax reconciliations and payments
  • Responsible for nationwide annual workers compensation reconciliations and payments
  • Process superannuation and PAYG monthly reconciliations and payments
  • Provide adhoc payroll reports requested by management eg: leave liability reports
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting of staff costs
  • Ensure the General Ledger is accurately reflective of staff costs and take ownership of those general ledger accounts

About YOU   

A high attention to detail and accuracy, combined with strong communication skills 

A fast learner who can master multiple systems, with proficiency at multi-tasking and adapting to changing circumstances 

Demonstrated experience as a Payroll Administrator including NZ payroll

Confidence dealing with high volumes of work across different channels (voice, email, messaging/chat) 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to maintain confidentiality in the workplace

Previous experience with ADP is essential
