We are seeking an experienced and highly organised individual to provide quality customer service and effective administrative support to the Community Services Division. 

  • 35 hours per week to be worked Monday – Friday.
  • Remuneration package of $2,167.92 gpf with the opportunity to progress to $2,601.50 gpf + 10% superannuation.
  • Generous leave entitlements.

Your new role: 
As the Administration Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality customer service and administrative support, reporting to the Manager Community Services.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: 

  • Responsive & solution focused customer service; 
  • Providing administrative support for the Community Services division’s teams which include Visitor Economy & Events, Social Planning, Wagga Wagga City Library, Wagga Wagga Art Gallery, Civic Theatre, Museum of the Riverina, and Cultural Services; 
  • Utilise and maintain databases and electronic records systems. 
  • Undertake administrative duties including administering Council’s annual grants program, organising events, meetings, travel arrangements, purchase requisitions; and 
  • Assist the Executive Assistant of the Director Community as required.
