Remuneration: $71,670 – $77,102 + superannuation (dependent on qualification & experience)

Location: Hybrid – Cremorne campus and working from home arrangement


About The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning, the Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for supporting, overseeing, and governing the end-to-end recruitment and selection systems and processes across BKI in consultation with Line Managers. This includes providing support to the talent acquisition team and hiring managers on attraction and selection strategies that enable BKI to attract and retain the best talent in efficient timeframes. 

This position will also ensure all recruitment policies and processes applicable to BKI are reflective of best practice, enable a positive employee experience, and remain relevant for BKI to achieve its objectives. You will be a strong administrator and have an eye for detail. To thrive in this role, you will need to be able to juggle multiple priorities, be able to pivot and adjust in an agile environment whilst maintaining excellent stakeholder and candidate management.

This position will play an integral role in standing up a centralised recruitment function within Bendigo Kangan Institute. You will be part of a small team and will need to thrive in a hands-on, fast paced and agile environment.

  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience in similar role within a similar organisation
  • Previous end-to-end recruitment experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills (internally and externally)
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • An eye for detail in all that you do; from contract creation to building hiring campaigns and strategies
  • Strong administration skills to ensure our resources are up-to-date at all times and to provide administration support to the team
  • An eagerness to learn more and to grow within the Talent Acquisition space
  • An interest and passion in setting up a ‘best in class’ recruitment process
