About the College:
The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Manager and Leads of the team to coordinate and provide support to committees and review groups. 
  • Assist with managing the general correspondence inbox, responding to queries and delegating to members of the team as appropriate.
  • Support the operational team in the planning, scheduling, and delivery of examination events, including but not limited to workshops, rehearsals and teleconferences. Responsibilities include candidate and examiner support, third party liaison, managing timelines, venues, catering, resources and equipment.
  • Support the extraction of data and cleansing of data from RANZCOG systems in order to assess candidate eligibility for examinations.
  • Support the collation and analysis of examination results and production of relevant reports.
  • Maintain relevant policy and procedure documents to support designated areas of responsibility.

This role requires out of hours work on weekdays and weekends (approximately 12 weekends per year) and may require some travel within Australia and New Zealand. The College offers time off in lieu, overtime rates and flexible working arrangements at times when out of hours work is required.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Great organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks within strict timeframes
  • The ability to work without close supervision, as a member of a team; be enthusiastic and self-motivated; contribute ideas and collaborate in their implementation.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • High levels of initiative, attention to detail and problem-solving skills and the demonstrated capacity to implement process improvements.
  • Experience in minute taking and agenda preparation.
