WOW Recruitment are looking for a Customer Care Manager to join one of Australia’s leading manufacturers and retailers. This role is based in Chullora, and you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the customer care team.
 
THE OPPORTUNITY
 
As a Customer Care Manager, you will lead the team with a continuous improvement mindset, ensuring KPIs are achieved and reporting on activity. In addition, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, including resource planning and management, employee development, training, and performance management. 
 
Your team will strive to provide an excellent customer experience, maximising sales opportunities and, resolving service and product-related enquiries, providing support to digital and in-store channels.

THE ROLE:
 
  • Manage the day-to-day performance of the team, and deliver excellent service to stakeholders
  • Develop short- and long-term strategic plans for the department, with a focus on delivering internal efficiency, scalability, and process improvement.
  • Analyse, manage, and report on the performance of individuals and team activity to improve efficiency
  • Develop team capability through personal development plans, training, and succession planning
  • Lead and participate in company meetings
  • Drive a safety culture that puts health, safety, and wellbeing as a priority and shared responsibility 
  • Be observant of customer needs, listen and show passion for products and the brand
  • Ensure the team responds to customer emails, telephone calls, and web-chat requests.
  • Drive and maintain the highest standards of service
  • Actively contribute to increasing sales through understanding and addressing customer needs, ensuring insights are shared with the team
  • Manage and effectively deal with customer enquiries about deliveries, collections, back orders, returns, refunds, spare parts, and repairs
  • Carry out any additional duties as directed by the Management Team
  • Take an active part in providing customer and process feedback and insight to the business, as and when required
 
ABOUT YOU:
 
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • An ability to develop and execute efficiency strategy throughout call centre operations
  • Be an excellent communicator with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience managing a contact centre or customer care team
  • Previous experience in leading, coaching, and influencing a positive and supportive team culture
  • Knowledge of selling techniques and merchandising packages
