About the opportunity
The Family Safety Victoria Motels Coordination Project is a new 12-month initiative and enabler for the family violence crisis response model. As a Project Officer, you will work closely with a Specialist Family Violence Sector Advisory Group to design, develop and implement a detailed project plan in line with the family violence case management program requirements and crisis response model.
The Project Officer will develop systems, protocols and resources which will support a more coordinated, area level approach to the utilisation of motels for family violence emergency accommodation in the Southern Melbourne Area. The Project will aim to address the key risks and challenges in identifying appropriate motel options and managing relationships with moteliers.

About you
To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a tertiary qualification in family violence. Qualifications in project management would be advantageous.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to scope, plan and implement projects within required timeframes and budgets
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the family violence sector
- An understanding of the MARAM Framework, Intersectionality and broader family violence reforms
- Proven ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Well-developed writing skills, with the ability to develop effective processes, tools and resources
