The role will provide you with the opportunity to work from home, client sites and the CBD office.
Core Job Description
The following to be completed in managing clients’ accounts:

  • General Ledger is updated in a timely and accurate manner
  • Invoicing and Supplier Payments
  • Payroll and Superannuation
  • P&L, Balance Sheet and Ad-hoc reconciliations
  • Stock reconciliation and inventory
  • Process month end journals
  • Monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow forecasts
  • Reporting for preparation of BAS returns, PAYG, FBT and Payroll Tax
  • Onboard clients onto technology platform of services
  • High level of client engagement
  • Liaise with clients’ Tax Accountant

To be Successful for this role, you must have the following:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a full-time accounting role
  • Qualified, part qualified or plan to become a CA / CPA
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in using Xero and related tools
  • Experience in working with small to medium size businesses
  • Hands on use and interest in technology
  • Proficient Excel skills
  • High level organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and passionate individual
