The role

Reporting to the Risk Team Lead, the Operational Risk Advisor is responsible for identifying, measuring, and mitigating risks and building the risk management capability across 7-Eleven. 


What you’ll be doing:

  • Identifying emerging risks, risk trends and partnering closely with business stakeholders to identify mitigation strategies
  • Working with business stakeholders to steward the completion of audit and risk actions
  • Performing risk monitoring and analysis and reporting on operational risk issues, incidents, action progress and key risk indicators
  • Supporting 7-Eleven’s risk framework and risk systems
  • Fostering a sound risk culture by informing and educating team members on risk management matters and best practice
  • Overseeing the day-to-day activities of 7-Eleven’s claims and insurance programs


What’s in your toolkit

  • Three (3)+ years’ experience working in a large accountancy practice or business in a risk or internal audit capacity
  • Ability to embrace agile ways of working and adapt to an evolving environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an eye for detail
  • CA / CPA /CIA qualified or in the process of obtaining qualification.
