This local civil contractor who focuses predominantly on civil infrastructure delivering projects for local government, councils and private contractors nationally. They have recently been awarded as a panel provider to deliver major water treatment projects across South East QLD

We are searching for a highly motivated Office Administrator with a minimum of 1 year payroll experience. This Administrator will be based in their Strathpine offices working with a friendly team & supporting the team with onboarding, HR duties and payroll. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced role and working within the construction industry.

 

While reporting to the Office Manager your role will include:

  • Management of all on-boarding including regular data entry in setting up new employee profiles and maintaining records
  • Upload all relevant tickets & qualifications
  • Process payroll, timesheet entry and reporting – weekly
  • Managing end to end payroll ensuring employees are paid correctly
  • Provide support to project teams regarding timesheets and payroll queries
  • Assist with matching purchase orders to invoices and assist with accounts
  • Additional general office / project administration duties

 

The successful individual will have previous experience in a similar role, with a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous payroll experience or payroll assistance is required. Beneficial to have worked within the construction industry, but not essential. Someone who is confident in owning the role, managing their work independently and ability to multitask with high attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Suite i.e Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel & ability to pick up systems quickly.
