For more than 100 years and 3 generations, our family have operated a farming and grain milling business in Dubbo, the heart of the NSW wheat belt. We are in control of our product from the paddock to the customer and can therefore offer a quality of product unmatched in the industry.  Today, we employ around 90 staff who are passionate about becoming an “Extraordinary Company”.

Right now, we are looking for an Executive Risk Leader with a stellar record in the industry. 


This position will see you driving a risk culture and continuing to build our risk capacity.  As a key member of the leadership team, you will be accountable for:

  • Maintaining our Risk Management Policy – Including the delivery of activities and initiatives that ensure the efficacy of the Risk Management Policy across the organisation; 
  • Driving a culture of risk awareness – Ensuring high levels of compliance through coaching and mentoring of leaders and team members and driving ongoing skills and capacity building; 
  • Leading Continuous Improvement – Identifying and driving continuous improvement and using your problem-solving ability to ensure identified risks are resolved; 
  • Reporting and validation – Including keeping all stakeholders regularly and accurately informed; and
  • External auditing – Validating our Risk Management Policy, processing it against external best practice champions that are in line with obligations associated with parties such as Insurers, HACCP, EPA, SafeWork. 


  • Degree qualification in a relevant field; 
  • 10 years plus, experience at a leadership level, preferably in an FMCG environment; 
  • Experience in policy and framework drafting with high attention to detail when executing;
  • Commercial and inquisitive mindset;
  • Highly proficient in analysing and reporting on risk metrics;  
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with complex matters and present facts and recommendations in a logical and commercial manner;
  • Sound understanding of industry legislation and obligations;
  • Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally; 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to influence, negotiate and motivate others.
