The Opportunity
A market leader in their field, the organisation is very progressive, focusing and investing in new technologies focused on the renewables sector. This is an invaluable opportunity for a recent graduate who has completed studies within accounting and finance. You will have the opportunity to rotate across a number of key segments within the finance function in this two year graduate program.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Finance Manager, specifically your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing month-end journals and accrual processes
- Maintaining and reconciling asset registers
- Assisting in the planning and budgeting processes
- Monitoring and reporting on the accuracy of previous forecasts and budgets
- Assist in the raising of capital expenditure
- Other ad-hoc reporting and analysis support required finance team
The Expertise
This role will suit a Graduate who has recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business, and ideally majoring in accounting and finance. You have most recently graduated and have less than 12 months experience working professionally.
It is expected that you will have exceptional communication skills and have the ambition to grow and develop your accounting skill set within a large complex blue-chip Australian company.
Ideally, you will have your drivers’ license and have the ability to commute on-site for the days that you work in the office.
