Due to a recent review and expansion of the Finance Team, Eldercare has an Accounts Administrator position available for a positive, customer-centric individual who is looking for a flexible 0.8 FTE opportunity.
The successful individual will provide accounts payable and finance support and be responsible for the cash management function ensuring cash liquidity is maintained and reporting is up-to-date.
The Accounts Administrator will also provide a broad range of accounts administration support to the Corporate Services Team, ensuring the effective and efficient day to day operation of the finance systems throughout the organisation.
To secure this great opportunity, in a great team environment, you will be proactive in your approach to any task with the ability to take initiative and work autonomously. You will have a strong background in booking keeping and account payables principles, along with a minimum certificate III in a relevant qualifications.

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
Under the Emergency Management (Residential Aged Care Facilities) (COVID-19) Direction, to work in a residential aged care facility:
- from 1 June 2021, you must provide evidence of your seasonal influenza vaccination or a valid medical exemption
- from 29 January 2022, you must have two doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine and within 4 weeks of becoming eligible in accordance with ATAGI guidelines receives a booster dose, or a medical exemption endorsed by the Chief Public Officer or her delegate.
