Currently looking for a Medical Receptionist ( multiple positions ) to start immediately at our busy general practices based in Wallsend, Cameron Park, Paterson and Clarence Town. Training will be Provided
Part Time /Full time Permanent
Daily tasks and responsibilities include:
*Excellent customer service as being the first point of contact to patients with efficient communication.
*Effective management of patient appointments and answering all phone queries in a professional and friendly manner
*Patient results/ recalls/ invoices and receipts
*Patient records and maintenance
*Medicare & Medical Insurances Claims and reconciliation
*Assisting Senior Management in daily office tasks
*Maintaining policies and procedures
*Assisting in Ordering medical and office supplies.
*General Admin and ad-hoc duties.
*A team player that works well within a team environment
Selection Criteria / Preference
*Professional, friendly and courteous manner
*Must be able to work in high flow patients waiting rooms
*Excellent communication skills
*Initiative, time-management & flexibility
*Ability to multi-task and prioritize
*Ability to work in a team and independently
*High level of work ethic and flexibility with work hours, must be able to work on weekends with a rotating roster.
*Flexible environment where team members are dealt with great respect

Remuneration: Hourly rate according to Modern Awards and as per experience and duties given.
