Payroll Officer role available in Brisbane’s Inner City – Small payroll team

Your new company
This leading Australian company that operates across a niche sector are seeking a Payroll Officer to join their growing team on a full-time permanent basis. The position will be based in their City Fringe offices which are located close to various lunch time dining options and within walking distance from Roma Street train station.

Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Setting up new employees on the payroll system
  • Timesheet collation and timesheet entry
  • Assisting employees with payroll queries
  • Assisting the Senior Payroll Officer with payroll reporting and reconciliations


What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

  • Demonstrated payroll knowledge and experience
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
