Set up across 3 key business divisions – accounting & business advisory, wealth management & lending – this business has a wide & diverse range of clients.

Working in its accounting & business advisory division, our client is seeking an experienced, qualified accountants with a strong background in tax, compliance, and true business advisory.  
  
Successful candidates will have experience at a Senior Accountant level, fantastic communication skills, and full CA or CPA membership.

What do you do:
  • Liaise directly with clients on a daily basis
  • Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for various entities 
  • Timely and accurate preparation of financial reports 
  • Identify and recommend financial and non-financial improvements
  • Work autonomously
  • Train, mentor and review the work of younger staff
  • Work with FBT, Div7A, state taxes, GST, and general Income tax
  • Prepare and create tax planning strategies
  • Review and execute work across different levels of business
  • Assist the business in continuous improvement
What do you need:
  • Multiple years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm
  • Experience with income tax reporting software
  • Full/Completing CA/CPA membership
  • Worked with individuals, trusts, partnerships, businesses, and SMSFs
  • Know difference between management reports and statutory accounts
  • An analytical mind
  • Fantastic verbal communication: ability to confidently advise clients
  • Leadership qualities
  • Desire to grow and progress with the firm
