We are looking for a customer service focused Administration/Accounts Assistant part time 20-25 hours to take up the challenge.

This diverse and flexible role is varied and includes:

  • Accounts payable processing
  • Banking duties and reconciliations
  • Invoice processing
  • Accurate data entry and filing of accounts and data
  • Prompt, helpful and efficient handling of enquiries
  • Typing and preparing documents
  • Provide assistance to staff members including answering, receiving phone calls and taking messages

Our team is our core strength which is why we are looking for someone who, in addition to being a motivated self-starter who can work autonomously, possesses the following attributes and skills:

  • 1-2 years experience within an accounts and/or bookkeeping role
  • Practical Xero software experience
  • A minimum of one year experience in an administration based role
  • Advanced Excel and intermediate/advanced MS Office and typing skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy levels
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Excellent time management skills
  • A sense of urgency and problem solving skills

In addition the successful applicant will be a team player with a friendly and can-do attitude, the ability to take responsibility for their role and meet deadlines.   Clear communication skills and an internal drive to work hard and to seek continual improvement is also important.
