We are looking for someone with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our busy Accounts Receivable team. This role will suit someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and able to multitask. You will also be self-motivated, show initiative, organised, and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
The key tasks involved with the role include:
- Maintenance of files and databases
- Opening of new accounts
- Daily allocation of customer payments
- Process credit card payments
- Maintain PPSR register
- Preparation and balancing of month end reports
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Answering queries and resolving disputes relating to debtor accounts
- Manage shared inboxes
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Previous experience or exposure within a finance/accounts receivable team
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
- A willingness to learn
- Ability to ensure deadlines are met
- Experience with JDE preferred but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding customer service and telephone skills
- Analytical/problem solving attitude
- Other ad-hoc duties within the Accounts Receivable team as required
