Large environmental org located in Banskmeadow requires an experienced AP officer to join their finance team.
Your new company:
One of Australia’s largest specialist recycling organisation is recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their AP team of 6.
Your new role
Working on a range of companies within the group, your key duties will include:
- Managing purchase order approvals and processes for designated business units
- Verification, limits and approvals of POs and invoices
- Payment schedules
- Payment runs
- Processing invoices in Concur and main accounting system
- Supplier queries
- Managing payment terms and meeting payment agreements
- Ensuring accurate input and verification of invoice details
- Local and overseas payments
- Statement reconciliations
- Implementing AP procedures and reviewing processes
- Cross training with AP colleagues on other business units
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous experience in an organisation with multiple companies and entities would be ideal. The ability to work to various processes and detailed verification of high volume account payable transactions would also be a bonus. Excellent communication and team skills are essential in this role, as you’ll be managing a range of different types of AP processes and working closely with other AP officers to ensure monthly deadlines are met.
