About the Role (Candidate Must be Bilingual Proficient – Chinese & English)
Our business is experiencing transformational change, and we are now seeking a CFO that has substantial knowledge and experience in the Trust Accounting field.
Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Coordinating with managers of subsidiaries and departments, developing and reviewing accounting strategies for the company and each subsidiary.
- Determining and reviewing budgetary of each subsidiary of the company, advising on the source of funds and distribution of earnings.
- managing the PIA Group’s financial reporting and tax obligations
- Monitoring, reviewing and interpreting the company’s financial information, evaluating business management/board of directors
- providing profit forecast
- Coordinating with external financial consultants in developing and improving accounting systems of the company and each subsidiary to safeguard shareholder’s investment in the PIA Group and ensuring compliance.
- Liaising with banks and finances
- evaluating financial proposals, advising on investment strategies
- engaging with the PIA Group’s external auditors and accountants, i.e. PwC, and managing their involvement
- oversight of the finance team and function within PIA Group
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Permanent Residency or Australian Citizen preferred
- Proficient in English and Mandarin
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tenacity
- Ability to oversee strategic planning and aligning with the business goal.
