About the role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will provide support across a range of activities within the Finance team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, debt collection, payroll and other activities as required.

A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and customer service are required and previous administration/accounting experience in a similar role is desirable. Motivation, willingness to learn and proven success in previous roles will be considered when selecting the right candidate.

We are forecasting significant growth over the next few years, and are looking for someone who is keen to grow with our business.


Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Partnering with staff from across the business to ensure accurate and timely reporting of all transactions
  • Fortnightly and monthly payroll processing
  • Processing supplier invoices to the correct GL accounts ensuring GST compliance
  • Debt collection of outstanding invoices
  • Resolving queries with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements
  • Assisting with finance and administrative projects
  • General administration duties including answering telephone calls


Skills and experience

  • 2 years minimum experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Xero or other accounting software is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Suitability to working in a fast-paced, dynamic & changing office environment
  • Ability to work autonomously, and to think outside of the box in resolving issues as they arise
