About the role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will provide support across a range of activities within the Finance team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, debt collection, payroll and other activities as required.
A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and customer service are required and previous administration/accounting experience in a similar role is desirable. Motivation, willingness to learn and proven success in previous roles will be considered when selecting the right candidate.

Job tasks and responsibilities
- Partnering with staff from across the business to ensure accurate and timely reporting of all transactions
- Fortnightly and monthly payroll processing
- Processing supplier invoices to the correct GL accounts ensuring GST compliance
- Debt collection of outstanding invoices
- Resolving queries with internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements
- Assisting with finance and administrative projects
- General administration duties including answering telephone calls
Skills and experience
- 2 years minimum experience in a similar role
- Experience with Xero or other accounting software is essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Suitability to working in a fast-paced, dynamic & changing office environment
- Ability to work autonomously, and to think outside of the box in resolving issues as they arise
