REIWA is Western Australia’s real estate institute. We exist to make the selling, leasing, and buying of property as simple as possible for all Western Australians. We are a membership organisation representing over 1,100 agencies and more than 80 per cent of operating real estate agents in WA.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, experienced, and professional executive assistant who can provide high level support to the CEO and board. 

You will have a background in executive support for senior leaders with strong skills across MS Office suites and various business platforms.   

Supporting a dynamic, member and people focused CEO, the main responsibilities for this position include:

  • Provide executive support to the CEO including the providing support for routine correspondence and the strategic review/planning process.
  • Coordinate all aspects of administrative, correspondence and diary/ email management to effectively support the CEO and board. 
  • Draft and distribute internal and external correspondence and communications in conjunction with the CEO and internal stakeholders.
  • Screen and prioritise incoming calls and requests for meetings with CEO.
  • Prepare, collate and distribute agendas and meeting papers and manage action lists for council, strategy days and leadership meetings.
  • Prepare annual reports for distribution and sign off.
  • Prepare and manage board election processes and annual general meetings. 
  • Prepare and revise documents including presentations, emails, and reports.
  • Assist the wider leadership team as required.
  • Maintain regular contact with leadership team members to gain a thorough understanding of projects, business priorities and emerging issues and coordinating support.

To be successful in this critical role you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar position supporting a CEO and board (minimum five years)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills, acting with confidentiality and discretion
  • Highly developed communication skills including experience in writing business documents to a professional standard
  • Strong time management, attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience in and understanding of business protocols within a member based organisation would be desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and other business platforms to support the role (eg Canva, Jira, Netsuite, Publitas, Salesforce, SurveyMonkey, Zoom)
  • Experience in coordinating executive level diaries and commitments, minute taking, preparing board papers and making travel and accommodation bookings
