Due to the award of several major mining construction projects, Linkforce is currently seeking a Project Accountant to join our project controls team.
Reporting to the Projects Controls Manager, this full-time permanent position   will be based at our Perth Head Office.

What the role involves:
  • Set up and maintain cost budgets based on tender submissions and estimates
  • Preparation of internal and client invoicing and supporting documentation
  • Identification, creation, and processing of intercompany transactions
  • Input client variations and maintain current contract value and budgets
  • Review of requisitions and commitments for compliance to project cost coding
  • Prepare consolidated project invoicing forecasts for finance
  • Assist in preparation of monthly and yearly financial reporting
  • Closeout projects upon completion
  • Assist with office and site timekeeping systems and reporting
What’s required:
  • Tertiary qualification in finance/accounting or related discipline
  • Post-graduate experience in a project accountant or similar role
  • Understanding and application of project accounting principles
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain quality and attention to detail when working to deadlines
  • High levels of computer literacy including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and reporting systems like Pronto, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Active participation in departmental goals, objectives, and projects
  • Experience working for a construction contractor in the mining/resources industry is highly desirable
  • A National Police Check
