Contract: Permanent
Hours: Fulltime – 38 hours per week
Reports to: General Manager and the Board of directors
Level and salary: SCHCADS Level 6 – with PBI Salary packaging available
The Organisation
Riverwood Community Centre (RCC) is a not-for-profit community-based Neighbourhood Centre in the heart of Riverwood’s diverse community, with an outstanding reputation for working with and for the local community. With more than 40 years’ experience, RCC is a leading community organisation that supports change for individuals, families, and community groups through a wide range of programs. These include Children’s Services, Family Support and Youth Services, NDIS support, Aged Care Services and Community Development.
The Role
Riverwood Community Centre is looking for a Finance and Administration Manager who is passionate about working with our diverse community and shares RCC’s values, vision, and purpose. As the Finance and Administration Manager you will:
- Lead the finance and admin team to provide effective, quality services to the community, demonstrate a strong commitment to social justice, and work collaboratively to shape the Centre’s future direction.
- Provide Financial planning and analysis for all the businesses activities.
- Provide HR and Administrative support to the organisation
- Demonstrate significant management experience preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting / and or Business
- Be a Member of CPA Australia, a member of Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) or a member of the Institute of Charted accountants on Australia (ICAA)
Key responsibilities
- Foster quality, collaborative, and professional working relationships within and external to the organisation.
- Establishes and oversees the administration of the RCC activity-based financial planning and reporting system; ensures that system properly reflects the RCC operational needs and culture while remaining nimble to adapt to change.
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking
- Advice on HR Matters
- Manage the recruitment process, HR management and record keeping
- Attend Finance Committee and Board Meetings as required and work closely with GM, Treasurer, Finance Committee, and the Board.
- Prepare, manage, and report on budgets.
- funding body applications, administration, and grants acquittals.
