Our small business support / Bookkeeping practice is seeking an exceptional individual to join us.

This position will be full time, based initially from our offices in Cranbourne, moving to a hybrid structure from November 2022.

We are seeking candidates who have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Current BAS Agent registration
  • Minimum Cert IV in Bookkeeping / Accounting
  • Experience in the building and construction Industry
  • A solid understanding and practical experience in preparation of TPAR’s
  • The ability to have a home office set up to work remotely in an efficient and safe manner (from November 2022)
  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Payroll experience
  • Experience in using
    • Xero
    • QBO
    • MYOB (advantageous)
    • Karbon (advantageous)
    • Tradify (advantageous)
    • Microsoft Suite 
    • Hubdoc

The successful applicant will posses the following:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to hit the ground running
  • High level of attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and work on multiple client files across the spread of hours
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify areas of improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment both autonomously and within a small team
  • A good sense of humour

Your tasks will include (but not limited to):

  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Processing of supplier invoices and payments
  • Preparing and issuing debtor invoices and statements
  • Allocation of transactions from bank feeds
  • Reconciliation and preparation of TPAR’s
  • Preparation and lodgement of BAS/PAYG statements
  • Prepare and understand Profit and Loss reports
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • General administration duties
