The purpose of the Bank Reconciliation Officer is to undertake high quality, efficient and effective revenue assurance processes to maintain accurate client records through timely and accurate account management bank and account reconciliations. 

You will also be responsible for the resolution of discrepancies, whilst providing a high level of customer service to clients and their families in line with UnitingCare organisational values.

Please note, this is a part-time role offering 3 days a week. 


About you!

You will bring to this role –

  • Relevant and demonstrable work experience in a similar or comparable role eg, accounts receivable, journal preparation, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
  • Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of Bank and General Ledger Reconciliation processes.
  • High level of general ICT competency, advanced excel skills with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new operational systems and processes.
  • High level of stakeholder engagement capability with ability to articulate the issue and collaboratively find a solution.
  • Demonstrated ability to process information and problem solve to reach a defined and quality outcome with excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess knowledge of general accounting principles and workings of the banking systems.
  • Demonstrate the required skill to perform detailed work accurately and promptly.
  • Display problem-solving skill even under stressful conditions and deadlines.
