The Company:

Our client is a well-recognized industry leader who pride themselves on their long-standing tenure in the electrical installation sector. Priding themselves on the importance of retaining their staff, the business is passionate about their culture and people. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the NSW, ACT and WA General Manager whilst also providing occasional assistance to other executives in the business.


The Role:

This is a critical role, that will see you providing support to the General Manager. Day to day your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Maintain executive’s agenda and assist in planning internal and external appointments, board meetings, conferences etc.
• Attend meetings and keeping detailed minutes and closing out actions
• Receive and screen phone calls and redirect them when appropriate
• Handle and prioritize all outgoing or incoming correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
• Make travel arrangements for executives
• Arranging and coordinating multiple training programs, merchandise, awards evenings and company celebrations and events
• Handle confidential documents ensuring they remain secure
• Maintain efficient electronic and paper records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible
• Conduct research and prepare analyses, presentations or reports as assigned for executive use.


About You:

To be successful in this role you will have the experience and confidence to support a busy C-suite executive. You will be known for your adaptability and time management skills. Specifically, your experience will include:

• Proven experience as executive assistant or similar administrative role
• Proficient in MS Office “presentation software” and “back-office” software (e.g., ERP)
• In depth knowledge of office management and basic accounting procedures as well as technical vocabulary of relevant industry
• Familiarity with basic research methods, reporting techniques and presentation tools and social media platforms
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and negotiation abilities
• An individual of high Integrity, honesty, and confidentiality
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic person that work well in a team
• Degree in business administration or relative field
