Summary of the Role

The Finance Manager is responsible for the overall financial health of the business by maintaining and providing a comprehensive accounting service to support the efficient and effective financial operation of ANT and its subsidiary companies.

Day-to-day tasks may vary, from preparing financial documents, business reports, ensuring financial transactions adhere to legal regulations, and looking for opportunities.

 

Objectives of this Role

  • Execute accurate reporting, enabling CFO to analyse options and make financial recommendations
  • Compilation of data, records and reports as requested by external accountant and/or CFO
  • Comply with federal, state, and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation, and maintaining compliance
  • Act as the main point of contact in all financial matters relating to client and contractor concerns and needs
  • Reporting on financials and KPIs across all areas of the business
  • Consistent proactive cash flow management to ensure financial stability in the business
  • Supporting project management team by providing accurate information and ensuring profitability of each job is maintained

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable & Payable
  • Oversee Finance Personnel
  • Reporting to Senior Leadership Team, External Accountant and External CFO
  • Review of Financial Position, including OH & Project costs
  • Payroll Approvals and Payment
  • Cash Forecast & Cost Projections
  • Budgets and reviews
  • POC for accounts
  • Control of Creditors/Debtors
  • Month-End Accounting
  • Insurances
  • CAL
  • Establish and Review Delivery KPI’s
  • Chart of Accounts
  • Asset Register & Depreciation Schedule
  • Financial Compliance

 

Key performance indicators

  • Clearing accounts & bank reconciliations balance monthly
  • Debtor days not exceeding 30 days
  • Reports generated each month
  • Cash-positive projects at all times and profitability of each job is maintained through to completion
  • Reporting to external agencies undertaken in appropriate timeframes
  • Performance review undertaken with direct report(s) quarterly
  • Meeting deliverables executed within specified timeframes
