The Opportunity:
Our client is a highly respected retail and wholesale operation with a current turnover of 15 million, targeted to double in turnover in 3 years. They are seeking a Finance Manager to take control in a “hands-on” function encompassing financial, management accounting and reporting functions and be part of the leadership team. You will be reporting to the GM and be be supported at the transactional level by 2 accounting team members. There are realistic prospects to grow with the business to a CFO level in the medium term.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare month-end reports
- Reviewing multi-entity transactions and reporting.
- Preparation of cash flow statements and monitoring expenditure.
- Forecasting, budgeting and variances.
- Part of the leadership team – planning, analysis and preparing management reports.
- Overseeing Accounts: AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll
- Implement, streamline, improve central accounting systems and processes.
- Develop higher level reporting templates.
- Strong communicator; internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong service focus with a proactive approach to delivering on time.
- Excellent attention to detail; proactive, innovative.
- Strong reporting skills with a high proficiency in a cloud-based environment – XERO.
- CA/CPA or equivalent will be highly regarded but not essential.
