Kartaway, a leader in its industry, is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Head Office Finance team located in Brunswick East.

We are looking for an organised, confident and well-presented individual who is looking for an opportunity to develop their finance skills in this dual function role, learning from an experienced and supportive Financial Controller.

Key responsibilities include:

Accounts Payable

  • Receive, code & process supplier invoices for multiple branches
  • Supplier statement reconciliation & resolve supplier queries
  • Prepare weekly & monthly payment runs
  • Liaise with accounts staff in other states
  • General admin duties – daily collection and distribution of mail

Accounts Receivable

  • Allocate the daily bank statement
  • Process new customer credit applications
  • Actively make calls to customers regarding overdue amounts & payment discrepancies
  • Maintain the debtor ledger ensuring all information is accurate
  • Generate & send monthly customer invoices and statements

 Skills and experience

  • Minimum 1-year experience in an accounts role
  • Attention to detail and great problem solving skills
  • Team player and the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills

Essential Criteria: Must have current driver’s licence.
