The opportunity
This a pivotal role to work with a diverse accounting team whilst also working closely with the Financial Accounting Manager to assist a range of stakeholders.
Key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist with the preparation and consolidation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Coordinate end of year and interim processing including preparation of financial statements
- Assist with the external audit function
- Ensure the timely submission of BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax and FBT
- A degree in Accounting
- CPA or CA qualified or working towards your qualification
- A minimum of 2 years in accounting ideally within public practice
- A minimum of 2 years experience gained from within external audit
- Enjoy and contribute to working in a team environment
- Strong technical and Excel skills
