About the role

Fire Rescue Victoria’s commitment to employee wellbeing brings our focus to welfare and safety in the workplace. To support our teams’ health new service roles have been created, one of these being ‘Support Officer ’.

As our new Support Officer you are an experienced administrator with established administrative skills, you will provide support that contributes to the effective running of Recovery Support Services team.  Your duties will range from data capture, recording and communication with internal and external customers and service providers.   

FRV will also consider part time work or job share arrangement for the right candidates.

About you

You are a proficient administrator and you are computer literate and you have excellent attention to detail, time management and customer service skills.

To be considered for this role you must have:​ 

  • Well-developed administrative experience
  • Minimum Certificate III in an administrative field
  • And /or a diploma/certificate in Business Administration, HR, OHS or Project Management 

Functional Accountabilities include: 

  • Undertake administrative tasks including answering and directing general inquiries
  • Manage group inbox management
  • Develop and maintain work instructions for administrative tasks 
  • Provide support for the Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS) 
  • Assist with data collation for statistical reports 
  • Assist Recovery Support Coordinators with administrative tasks such as invoices and claims
  • Support the Recovery Support Services (RSS) team by maintaining RSS intranet page.
