About the Role
You will be an integral part of a growing team, with an opportunity to work closely with the partners of the firm. You will also be encouraged to manage client relationships whilst managing the following tasks:
- Completing year-end Financial Accounts and Income Tax Returns (for all entity types)
- Preparing business analytical data (financial ratio’s, benchmarking, tax planning, etc)
- Completing all other statutory compliance requirements
- Advisory type work including working closely with the partner on complex tax matters
- Liaising with clients and building relationships with them
- Liaising with government bodies
- Providing input on strategy, marketing and processes to assist growing the business in the right direction
About the Applicant
We are seeking highly motivated and driven individuals. To be successful you will have the following attributes:
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be target driven
You will also have the following experience and education:
- Degree qualified (majoring in Accounting)
- CPA/CA preferred but not essential
- Highly skilled with Xero and MYOB
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a public practice firm
