We now hiring for a Finance Assistant to join our experienced team at our new head office facility in Truganina.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be assisting the day to day operations of the Finance team and ensuring efficient, timely and accurate daily transactions are met in line with the Finance department objectives. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Maintain and update customer & supplier/contractor master file in the booking system and finance system
  • Process client/contractor invoicing along with account reconciliations
  • Support Accountant and Accounts Receivable in receipting and other duties 
  • Recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
  • Follow up outstanding invoices via phone or email 
  • Communicate and follow up on supplier/contractor/clients via phone or email 
  • Customer Service (internal and external)
  • General administration duties & data entry
  • Back-up answering incoming calls and handling enquiries

 About you and what you’ll bring: 

  • Proven experience using Xero Accounting Software & Microsoft Office 
  • A process driven individual with a strong attention to detail
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight timelines
  • Mindset that embraces a collaborative culture of learning and knowledge sharing 
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • Certificate in Accounting/Office Management
  • Experienced professional with sound management experience in accordance with industry best practice and acceptable accounting standards.


  • Xero Certification
  • Working towards either Degree or CA/CPA Qualification
  • General Transport Knowledge


  • Office Management / Book Keeping Experience
  • A General office All rounder
  • Purchasing / Debtors background


Drivers Licences

You will be required to undertake the following checks:

  • Police Check
  • Fit for Work
  • Drug and Alcohol
