Job tasks and responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will be familiar with payroll processes and HR administration and be ready to apply those skills in an environment where priorities shift rapidly and work towards ‘best practice’ administrative processes while remaining flexible to specific stakeholder needs.  You will work closely with the finance and resources team to understand and support the process of payroll across the business.

Like most roles of this nature, there are a few ‘must haves’. Specifically you will need to demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, intermediate level MS Office skills, and a strong background in payroll and account reconciliation ability.

As a guide, the role includes, but is certainly not limited to:

  • Being the primary contact for all Payroll Processing Queries
  • Process new starter paperwork and maintenance of employee records
  • Processing of weekly payroll using the Attache & Powerlink Systems
  • Reconciliation of Monthly Reports for legislative requirements
  • Accounts Receivable & Payable processing to reconciliation stage
  • Provide administrative assistance to both the finance team
  • Professional standard of verbal and written communication
  • Strong organisational skills and efficiency focused


Skills and experience

Minimum of 2 years payroll & administrative processing experience in a medium to large corporation environment.

You will require a proven background in payroll administration with a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards, and a strong analytical ability.

Attache payroll experience is advantageous but not essential
