About the Opportunity

Based in Dalby, you will be responsible for supporting both the Revenue and Procurement teams with operational needs.

This role is a casual position.

Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • assisting with levying and collection of rates and charges including debt recoveries;
  • processing the timely payment of accounts; 
  • issuing and maintaining store items; 
  • assisting with procurement processes; and
  • provide a high level of internal and external customer service to positively deliver solutions and resolve issues while maintaining diplomacy, patience, tact and sensitivity. 


About yourself

The successful applicant will have:

  • experience with interpreting (or ability to interpret) the Local Government Act and  Regulation to ensure compliance, particularly with respect to rates and utilities charges and procurement;
  • the ability to ensure high work standards are maintained, including a strong attention to detail, a focus on continuous improvement and compliance with organisational policies and procedures; and
  • strong organisational skills.
