About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the CFO, this role is will be working within a small accounting team and have the following key responsibilities:

  • Allocating clients’ payments to the outstanding invoices;
  • Checking and posting Creditors invoices in AUD and foreign currency to the ledgers;
  • Checking and posting Sales invoices in AUD and foreign currency to the ledgers;
  • Bank accounts reconciliation;
  • Monthly accrual of revenue, direct cost and overheads by general journal;
  • Creditors payments processing
  • Ad hoc administrative functions

About You:

In addition to your superior attention to detail; down to earth and respectful attitude; positive outgoing personality; time management skills, you will be expected to have the following:

  • An accounting graduate with 2-3 years’ experience in a general ledger accounting role;
  • Good knowledge of job costing and cost centres;
  • Good knowledge of GST rules;
  • Knowledge of accounting of foreign currency transactions;
  • Proficiency on Microsoft Excel using Pivot Table, Vlookup to analyse the data for management reports;
  • Work experience in an accounting department of a logistic / transport  / Warehousing desirable but not necessary
  • A can-do attitude and integrity are also a must for this role.
