Administration Officer

Estia Health Maroochydore is a modern and welcoming, home that opened in 2019 in the recently developed Sunshine Cove complex, joining our three other homes on the Sunshine Coast. Situated in a beautiful residential spot, the home has views across tranquil waterways with easy access to waterfront pathways and the complex’s services, including a medical centre and shops.


What is the opportunity?
Working closely with the facility’s management team, this role is on a permanent full time basis – 76 hour fortnight Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our hardworking staff, our wonderful residents and their families with the day to day running of our home.

With no two days the same, the primary responsibilities for this role include, but not limited to;

  • General administrative and reception duties
  • Recruitment and rostering of staff
  • Coordinate, manage and resolve staff enquiries

 

What do you need? 
You will bring to the role your drive, determination, exceptional organisation and time management skills.  You are passionate about working in a fast paced environment and enjoy taking ownership of tasks and being in control of your day!

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar or related role (Aged Care highly regarded)
  • Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • An understanding of financial components (Aged Care highly regarded)
  • Commitment to Work Health and Safety principles
