About our Client
Our client provides Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Transaction Advisory Services. The Corporate Finance Team specialises in lead advisory M&A, Buy Side and Sell Side Due Diligence and commercial valuations for a wide variety of sectors and organisations, as a well respected brand with an influential deal size.
The Opportunity
Manager – M&A role is available as part of the Corporate Finance team, you will specialise in M&A and support Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence from time to time.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provision of advice in relation to buy and sell side transactions across a diverse range of industries and markets.
  • Acquisition due diligence reports for strategic and financial buyers across a wide range of industry sectors.
  • Strong IM and modelling capabilities
  • Strong technical accounting skillset
  • Delivering reports with an understanding of the ASX listing rules and IPO process.
  • Vendor due diligence reports in connection with transactions, across a wide range of industry sectors
  • Assistance with lead advisory engagements, including information memorandum preparation, data room management & stakeholder management. 
  The successful applicant will have the following experience: 
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, business, finance or economics preferred; 
  • Deep work experience with transaction diligence on buy and sell side preferred;
  • Some M&A lead advisory exposure preferred;
  • IM competency preferred
  • A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, or international equivalent; 
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; 
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills and a dedication to teamwork willing and able to influence and support internal and external customers;
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environment
