We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer in a permanent full time role to join our friendly finance team in a newly created position to become a valued member of the company as the business moves forward and grows. 

 

The role would include, but not limited to the following main responsibilities:

  • Administer the invoices email box for printing and sorting of invoices
  • Process supplier and subcontractor invoices, including matching to Purchase Orders involving both automated and manual data entry
  • Process weekly EFT payments to contractors 
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices, as appropriate
  • Respond to all enquiries in a professional & timely manner
  • Comply with all relevant company policies and procedures
  • Other duties, as requested by Financial Controller
  • Must have received COVID vaccinations in accordance with government requirements.

Qualifications and experience:

The experienced candidate must have intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and preferably have worked in Construction with Databuild, and/or Framework systems experience a plus.
