We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team!

Reporting directly to Head of Group Procurement and Vendor Management, the successful candidate will work closely with our Spirit Sales team, Business Leaders and Technology savvy expert. This is a key role in the business and you will responsible for development of all customer Statements of Work, Contract Variations and Service Level Exhibits and other contract templates and artefacts.

Line Manager is Melbourne-based, but we are open to candidates from VIC, NSW or QLD.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Authoring, reviewing and negotiating new contract documents (including statements of work, contract variations and service level exhibits) in line with Spirit commercial strategies to deliver best business outcomes
  • Liaise with relevant Spirit Corporate functions e.g. legal, tax, finance where required.
  • Provide professional, timely and effective contract and commercial advice to stakeholders as required.
  • Identify and mitigate of business regulatory, commercial and operational risks in new and existing contracts.
  • Perform risk management and manage commercial disputes/escalations regarding contracts and agreements.
  • Support the development of practices, policies and documentation to facilitate effective management of contracts, and ensure a clear understanding of relevant contractual issues across the business.
  • Maintain and continually improve the relevant contract database ensuring key contractual terms are clearly captured, payment schedules and costs are understood, and upstream licensing and other obligations are complied with.
  • Ensure effective escalation, prioritization and decision-making processes are being followed throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Support the change management process by updating or making changes to agreements as needed to better utilise IT services and capabilities.

  • Exceptional customer facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the company and successfully deal with sensitive commercial negotiations
  • Contract management, SLA management and reporting
  • Knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and other disciplines related to service delivery is preferred
  • ITIL foundation certification or exposure to ITIL processes and frameworks
  • Previous experience in a MSP, Service Delivery or Customer Facing environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent written, numerative and verbal skills to communicate with senior management, customers, and vendors
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Visio)
