Position Title: Administration Support – Loddon Mallee Integrated Cancer Services
Classification: HS1 
Salary per hour (exc. super): $29.58 
Hours per fortnight: 20 hours across flexible days
Employment Status: Part Time Fixed Term
Other requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination


Role Description

The role of the Administration Officer will be to perform a range of high level secretarial and administrative duties that are integral to the successful functioning of the LMICS team.  The Administrative Officer will be responsible for the oversight and day to day administrative requirements of the LMICS team as determined by the LMICS Manager.

The Team

The Loddon Mallee Integrated Cancer Service (LMICS) team is part of Bendigo Health?s Cancer Centre. LMICS is one of a network of Integrated Cancer Services across Victoria, funded by the Victorian Government and established in 2004. The ICS work with health services to implement key aspects of Victoria?s current cancer plan, which aims to improve cancer outcomes by improving the experience of cancer patients, delivering efficient, quality care supported by data and research, improving outcomes, addressing disparities across population groups, driving innovation and system reform and ensuring good integration and coordination across service providers. 

At LMICS, our aim is to work with health services and the other ICS, to facilitate improvements in cancer services within the Loddon Mallee region. The team adopt a region wide approach to improving cancer care using an evidence based approach to:

  • Reduce unwanted variation in cancer care
  • Improve access to cancer care
  • Improve support for cancer survivors
  • Engage consumers of cancer care services
