The Role:

In this role you will be part of the executive leadership team, developing and driving the financial, commercial and IT functions. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the full finance function including the budgeting and forecasting for P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, payroll, and making recommendations on initiatives
  • Promote a robust control and governance environment to safeguard the integrity of financial systems and accounting standards
  • Identify business improvement opportunities and provide commercial modelling to support the business to make the right investment and business decisions
  • Lead the design and implementation of improved IT systems and functionality to ensure that they support our continued growth and optimisation
  • Effectively lead, motivate and develop an accounting team of 9
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the entire business
  • Drive change and company initiatives

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role; manufacturing, mining or construction experience is desired but not necessary
  • An Accounting degree with CPA/CA post grad qualifications
  • Supervision, management and people skills with proven skills in working in a values-based culture where people are empowered, engaged, and where a constructive team culture is actively promoted
  • Strong technical skills and experience in Finance, Commercial and IT management
  • Analytical mind and excellent commercial and business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels both verbal and written
