The Role

Our Docklands office is the hub for our corporate functions within the Bega Cheese Group. Freshly renovated and looking brand new, you’ll enjoy lots of natural light and great facilities to take advantage of including a fully stocked fridge loaded with a range of Bega products! We are right next door to Marvel stadium and some of Melbourne’s best restaurants, cafes and bars.

We’re currently recruiting for a Claims Officer to join our friendly and supportive team managing a high volume of financial data entry tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Collections Team Leader for Grocery, your main responsibility will be to deliver efficient and accurate processing and governance of customer claims information.

This position has a work from home 2 days and Docklands 3008 office 3 days mix with the entire team getting together on Thursdays in the office.


  • Management of Customer claims and deductions
  • Validation of customer claims requests
  • Ensure process is followed and data is accurate
  • Ensure processing of claims tasks meet our Service Level Agreement
  • Manage stakeholder enquiries

About you

  • Experience in data entry and passion for accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large value accounts
  • A commitment to timely customer service and payment processing
  • Experience with SAP, ECC and /or CRM7 software an advantage
  • Ability to add value and input to continuous improvement projects
